START--The fine day around two years ago there was a band called Compliance. Marcus Criner (singer) and Brett Admire (guitarist) were two members of this fine band. After Compliance had been together about a year the band was having some difficulties here and there. Bryson Phillips was a friend and a roadie of the band. After a while the difficulties led to Marcus and Brett quitting the band. Marcus and Brett decided since Bryson plays the bass guitar they could start a band and get a drummer.
Jason Barrow, a friend and of Bryson and Marcus's had bought himself a drum set a couple of months before so they decided to let him play drums.....and well....i'll admitt it....he was terrible.....but anyway!
Marcus had always wanted to play in a band called twenty-4-seven since the 6th grade cause he just thought it was a cool name. That is where twenty-4seven came from.
The four of them had a few practices and it wasn't really getting anywhere fast. On the day of the homecoming football game last year, due to some, umm.... well.... disagreements, Brett left the band. About 5 minutes after Brett left, Marcus Jason and Bryson were skating at the Junior High when a friend of theirs named Dylan drove up.
He was with Daniel Toki and Jay Caudle. Marcus and Bryson had known Jay since elementry and they sorta knew Daniel. Well, they knew he was a good guitarist. So they asked Daniel if he would like to try out for their band......ya know what?....he said
YES. Jay was like hey guys i can play rhythm! (but Jay was a dork so we just ignored him).
Anyway, a few days later, Daniel came to Jason's house so we could all jam and try him out. Daniel asked if he could bring Jay along too just to play some rhythm while he tried out.....ya know what?....we said YES....and ya know what else? we just loved the way it sounded with two guitarist so we kept them both and we are so glad that we did. They are both extremely talented. At this time, Jason was still a very horrible drummer, although we didnt ever tell him that.
So it was us five: Marcus singing,Daniel playing lead guitar, Jay playing rhythm guitar, Bryson playing Bass, and Jason trying to play the drums.
After a while of practicing we started setting up shows. Our second show was at a church and we played with Dogwood, The Undecided, (two signed bands on tour) and The Humblebees. We were so looking forward to it! and we thought we were gonna do awsome!.....ya know what?.....we didn't. The crowd just stood there and looked at us. We did get a couple claps every other song or so but to get to the point across, it was pretty embarrassing. Not only that but afterwards the other three bands got on and played awesome shows and it just made us look worse. We got over it quickly and just kept practicing.
We eventually got a whole lot better, and believe it or not, Jason is now AWESOME at the drums.
We five are really, really good friends. We are all dedicated christians and love Jesus Christ with all our hearts and we aren't afraid to show it. The reason we are playing is for God and that is the way it is always gonna be. Nowadays, a year and 4 months since we very first started, we are all five best friends, we all hang out just about every day, and we all go to the same school (except jason cause he is a loser and he already graduated).
So yeah, that is about it. That is the story. Thank you. Now go away....--FINISH

O also, one time we stayed the night at jason's. He has no food. We looked into the back of his cabinet and found ten year old pancake mix. We couldnt find syrup but we found some old nasty honey. It was black and very old. We ate ten year old pancakes with black honey. Thank you!
